The Goddess on the Go| The Practice of intentional solitude| Women who run with wolves| weekend flow

I never thought the journey to peace was one that I would do alone. I envisioned my perfect life surrounded by family friends and lovers as my intention. I didn’t know that the longing for companionship and togetherness came from childhood experiences that left me feeling rejected and disappointed. So to overcompensate for this insecurity I placed on myself I relied on outside validation because being alone seemed like a death sentence. All these years later, still following through towards the intentions of peace and balance, I love my solitude. It reminds me of the worthy connection I neglected with myself for years. It allows me to remove the thoughts of others from my most sacred space my heart. Put yourself in a position to cultivate solitude, and oneness being all one, a whole one, still one part of a greater path and purpose.
